So smooth to play, a satisfaying and improved experience compared to other 2D Metroid (at least the ones I've played). There are classic Metroid traits like hidden blocks, reggressive count and exploration that expands with the improvements; the metroidvania formula. But it also add some new features like the gameplay with the E.M.M.I.s and the E.M.M.I. zones, which makes you go on stealth mind, something never seen before in the franchise and it works good. Completes the Metroid history line and add some extra trivia that were shown on Samus Returns.
Even though I loved this game, I have to point out that in the days after the release, an ex-worker revelead problems within the studio behind Samus Returns and Dread with the workers which it's seems to be a fckn constant in the industry. I loved this game but I can not keep apart that the most part of the people who made it has to go through sht treatment.
