Short but sweet. And frankly the price is very fair, borderline too cheap for the amount of effort put in. Still unmatched in visuals and then some. This DLC has some of the most insane looking bosses of any game period. This game will never age when it come aesthetics.
If you thought the base game was too hard then this isn't for you. Some bosses feel impossible for several attempts till you finally identified the patterns and tells. This DLC loves having you deal with three attack patterns to keep track of at all times. I thought the challenge was mostly fair, though that final battle was honestly a bit too difficult, but that may change on replays.
Even if you can't beat it, this DLC gives a lot of cool extras like new weapons, charms, and a playable character who's very strong but thankfully not an easy win (unless you unlock her in the early game, in which case go nuts).
This was well worth it and I can easily see myself replaying this in the near future. Prepare for a struggle but victory never looked so pleasing.
