Steam Next Fest February 2024

I ain't got as much time as other Next Fests, so I limited it to 10 games. I fucked up counting and ended up with 11, though. Here they are from best to worst.

Hell YEAH
Souls-like with an interesting directional block gimmick and a seemingly higher focus on co-op, although the demo says it's not fully representative of the gameplay loop. Really like the style.. I will be playing.
Pretty awesome, though my poor eyesight and the overbearing aesthetic can be overwhelming for me lmao. Really fun, tho, I'll probably cop this on release or near release.
Very interesting soulslike where you consume the essences of certain dead people, then use them to fight. You basically can switch between 4 different characters at any moment, and dealing damage with one character will drain health to heal up the ones in reserve. Pretty cool, but seems to be very early so it's still pretty janky and runs like shit. Will keep my eye out for it tho.
Excellent aesthetic, fun puzzle/shooter gameplay. Really great!
This is janky but I like it, it's what I would call "shitkino". It crashed like 10 minutes in, just as I was getting into it, though... and it's a demo so it didn't save shit, so I didn't play any more than that. Dunno if it's something on my end, though. Nonetheless, I liked what I did play.
I feel like I barely scratched the surface and I have my issues with the interface, but I dig it. It's my type of game. If it has good infighting systems, it will be really fun.

Charming retro Zelda type game, somewhat carried by its visuals as far as I could see on the demo. Especially animations. Didn't make me go crazy over it, but it's not bad.
Fun enough roguelike ARPG, nice aesthetic and music.
Not bad for a project by two devs, kudos to that. But I don't think I'll care to play this one beyond the demo.
I ain't feeling it. At all.
