This is the best remake of all time, and it's one of the most NECESSARY remakes too since the og can feel very dated now. Everything about it is just so polished and it feels amazing to play. Some of the most iconic moments in gaming history were redone to perfection. I'm writing such a fragmented review here because I don't even know how to express how much fun this game is. Genuinely the best blend of action, horror, and puzzle solving we'll ever get. This is the first Resident Evil game I've ever FINISHED, and now I very much anticipate playing the remake of 2 and possibly going back to finish the OG RE4 since I never have. Anyway, this is an essential gaming experience right here. Do not pass up on it.
