Never been so mixed on a game in my life. Doom 3 is a very fun game in this remaster with the shoulder mounted flashlight, but for all of its fun gameplay, there are a lot of issues which I don't expect to be present in a remaster.
There are no subtitles, quite a few lighting bugs/glitches, areas where framerate tanks, and the audio is fairly muddy. But while not a great Doom game, I enjoyed it for the gun variety and especially the atmosphere.
The muddy audio is a problem but only with the voices, outside of that the sound design is pretty fucking good and really adds to the experience.
Doom 3 BFG isn't a game I can recommend all too much because it has a lot of issues but I enjoyed my time with it.
