It’s very weird and not very often that I come out of a game enjoying it, but also having no idea of what happened. Zone of the Enders’ story feels like an afterthought as it is generic as it comes, and seems to expect you to know the few characters that it throws at you. There is no real development in any aspect and the game is over in a flash. Combat feels good but get tiresome very quickly, I wish there was more bosses as 90% of this game is just backtracking to other primitive areas and defeating the same 3 enemy types.

I've heard great things about the sequel, which seems like this game is just setup for. If I'm honest there is probably not much to miss here so even without playing ZoE2, you can probably just skip to that one
