I stopped about halfway through (I think). I was surprised by the actually good voice acting and story that kept me going for a good 40 hours. The music and environments are beautiful and captivating. The lore is really rich and I absolutely love the world, culture, and characters. The environment, unfortunately, felt empty to me playing it in 2021. Many of the side quests are fetch quests for little glowing orbs and "kill this many monsters" missions, which wasn't my jam. I hope to finish it one day, but I definitely need a break from it.

I'm sadly with you on this. Having finished the story, it's surprisingly phenomenal all the way through. The ending in particular is something special to behold. However, the difficulty rubberbanding (meaning it keeps fluctuating at random due to factors out of your control) is so severe that there are points when the game becomes borderline unplayable. During one infamous boss fight, the one in which you "pay for your insolence," I had a party of Melia, Riki (who had max health), and Seven. I died within ninety seconds despite being one level ahead of the boss. I tried again, no differences, and I beat the boss in ninety seconds. The AI and damage levels on enemy Arts are terribly balanced.
