Tighter pacing and a smaller scale really benefitted True Colors. It is lacking a bit in those emotional gut punch moments we've come to expect from the series and Alex's powers are a bit underdeveloped, but the characters and setting are strong enough to overcome these shortcomings and make the time spent in Haven worthwhile.
