Monument Valley 2 is the sequel to one of my favorite games, and this time tells the story of a mother and her child. Their journey is simple yet complex and shows the power of separation and reconnection in a way that most could not convey.

The majority of the game feels exactly like the first, you have a world that breaks the barriers of geometry and physics and asks the player to overcome what should be impossible puzzles. Once again, they are usually pretty simple and not difficult at all, so it has a level of accessibility that enables pretty much anyone to play it. The sound design is wonderful, the visuals are great, and the mystifying factors from the first game once again have their equal here. It is worth noting however that the expansion included in this is much shorter than the first game's, and is basically the length of a single stage.

It has been a pleasure to be able to replay this series, I hope with the release of the Panoramic versions that it will entice the developers to once again return to this beloved series. If you're a fan of art pieces or wish for some light puzzle gameplay, then both this and the first game I would recommend to you.
