Well, well, well~
Battle Chasers: Nightwar is a turn based JRPG style game that you kill many demons and wait for its sequel... God knows when they release that. Let's get into Pros and Cons~

Pros:

• Beautiful animations, probably the best aspect of the game
• Party members are amazing at what they are doing, they feel unique and useful at the same time
• Overlay map is simple, UI is easy to get into
• Just two words: MANA usage, damn.
• Skill points are a great way to experiment character builds
• Works like a charm with even the most horrible PCs
• Calibretto is a ♥♥♥♥♥ beast

Neutral:

• I don't know about crafting in this game, I hardly ever crafted something other than weapons in this game~ It feels unrewarding since you can get better loot from dungeons and overworld treasures
• Fishing... I've played so many JRPGs with fishing mini-game but to be honest, this one is pretty meh
• Music, it has some decent tracks but mostly... they are forgettable

Cons:

• High encounter rate. Even when you want to explore a low-level dungeon you are going to bump into some low levelled thrash mobs.
• Linear story with no twists or surprises... Hopefully, its sequel will do much better (if they are going to make one)
• Not a single endgame content, wow
• Gully's ultimate weapon depends on your RNG where you might or not encounter a specific monster in your journey, waste of time to be honest
• Grindy achievements like finish the game with NG+. Yeah, no thanks... I'll pass
• Changing party members is not fun, you can only do that when you want to enter a dungeon or in the tavern... Your off party members are not getting experience what so ever...Which makes your off members useless without grinding in the dungeons. So, I mostly used Calibretto, Garrison and Gully on my journey and beat the game. Especially Garrison, he obliterates anything with his ultimate weapon.

Overall, it's an ok game for any JRPG fans. But I'm not going to recommend this game to anyone who's not familiar to this genre. There are so many better titles than this.

My final score is 6.5/10 for Calibretto's sake.
