This experience was just painstakingly dull. For every good aspect there's a bad one next to it that makes it hard to believe that all those ideas came from one design philosophy. It is much more plausible for me to believe that they simply - tried - to copy these elements from other successful games.

Story was a dud. No matter how many times they presented new characters or added depth to the existing cast, it never succeeded in grabbing my curiosity. Collectibles are either customization for your poncho/droid/ship & lightsaber, codex entries, or pickups that permanently increase your health or force (action meter).

Gameplay wise this souls/sekiro-ish formula doesn't add up nicely. It goes to the point that enemies are bound to a certain section of the map that they can't pass (just like those other games), sometimes this section is a corridor or an open space or sometimes it's a single room. meaning that you could have enemies that are 5 feet away from you barking that they "lost me".

Maybe they were right, i was definitely lost on this one.
