If you're not a Miraculous fan, don't play this game. But also, if you are a Miraculous fan, just know this game seriously is not it. Also here's a tip: Don't go for the platinum. Any enjoyment I had with this game the first time through was squandered with me having to replay every level 3-4 times. The camera is wack, the jumping is wack, the "combat" is just button mashing. The story is bare bones and doesn't have any wow factor to it at all. The positives of this game are that they got the original voice cast to do the voices (however little of it there actually was) and umm that's it. This game would've been a lot more enjoyable if I was 10 years old and playing this on my 3Ds instead of PS5.

I liked the unique dialogues between the lords and their retainers but the rest of this was kinda ass idk

Even though it was a short game it was really enjoyable. The sprites for Vulcuzar are well made and seriously funny too. If you picked up the itch.io Ukraine bundle I recommend giving this game a quick play through.

i hate this game but i keep playing it every week someone please save me from this hell

TL;DR: I'm a long time player and I do like playing the game, however they should really rework the gacha system and make it easier to get the rare/stronger heroes.

For context, I started playing this game November 1, 2017 (around the first anniversary) and play almost daily.
I feel like this game is complicated to review, since it's a gacha and constantly changing. The best way to describe this game I think is that every time it takes a good step forward, they end up taking another one back in some way. This is especially prevalent with the gacha portion of the game. In the beginning, it was way easier to get rare and collab heroes. These would typically cost 3-5 steps for a guaranteed. Now, it feels like the rates are lower and the amount of diamonds it takes to guarantee one hero (sometimes 30 steps!!) is absurdly high. For free to play players, it feels virtually impossible to get good heroes without a ton of saving or godly amounts of luck. Hell, if Genshin Impact has better rates than your gacha game I feel like you're doing something very wrong. The meta is so prevalent in this game that if you aren't pulling for the newest and strongest heroes you'll end up falling behind and not be able to clear half the content that they're pushing out. Despite having so many heroes, I can't clear some of the events that they've released because you NEED the rare heroes and my absolute garbage luck prevents me from getting them (despite pulling on the banners constantly). I wish they could somehow reward long-time players who have been playing for years but I'm probably biased in that regard lol.

Rant and complaints aside, I actually do like this game, believe it or not. It's a good game to have on in the background while you're doing something else. I like running connects on my phone while I do work on my computer, for example. It's a hands off type of game which is probably the only reason I've ended up sticking with it for so long. In recent times, they've become a bit more generous with giving out older heroes but they are practically useless in the meta today. They have fun collabs every couple of months and it's always fun seeing the game get popular again during those time frames. There are some collabs I wish they would rerun instead of getting Hololive for the 3rd time (they just announced it lol) but I recognize that Hololive probably gets them a ton of new/returning players.

Despite everything I've said, it is a gacha game so don't feel obligated to spend $$$ just to be able to play. If you do save and build your teams correctly, you can still have a fun time with the game and clear tons of content (just don't expect to do the higher level stuff without those heroes). Stay safe and don't let those gambling addictions/FOMO ruin your life fellas.
