The only good Pokemon in my opinion.
The pixel art and music are pure bliss, the low-poly 3D aspects make it look wonderfully unique, the mature story, the wonderful and creative designs (yes, I said it), and the world being a joy to explore!
The difficulty is unfortunately lacking, like most Pokemon games, but I had fun with it nonetheless.

Quite easily one of the best sonic games ever created, fan-game or official! The level design, the character abilities, the wonderful music and aesthetics, it's all so wonderfully hand-crafted and makes me so grateful for this game's existence!
The only reason I'm giving it a 4.5 instead of full marks is the disappointing lack of outstanding custom levels compared to 2.1, but the vanilla campaign is so amazing that I honestly can't complain too much.

I'd have given this a 3.5 out of 5 since, the first 3 levels are honestly really fun and well designed, some of the better ones for 8-bit sonic games, but blue marine zone man... that drags the game down entirely, and the last level is very mediocre as well.
Looking forward to the re-make being made that was showcased during SAGE Christmas!
