I genuinely believe The Void is an amazing game but I can't really explain why without spoiling it. All I can say is that there's nothing else like it, except for Pathologic in certain aspects, and that every frustrating mechanic in the game has a reason to be there.
Also, be patient and save very often. You are not going to beat this game on your first try.
