Titan Quest Anniversary Edition is a classical age themed action RPG, it was first released during the mid 2000's only to be re-released a decade later with a bunch of quality of life improvements, regular patches and even new expansions impressively enough. Also, the base game now includes the 4th act which used to be an expansion.
The game is kind of slow initially so there's very little reason to play at the default game speed. Some other aspects about the experience remain equally antiquated despite the updates. The upside is that build variety is very high and probably one of the main selling points of the game, the player can combine any 2 masteries of their choice and wield any equipment they find, granted they have the stats to do so.
I believe the setting is another selling point since it's rather uncommon for the genre or video games in general in all honesty. The lore is fairly accurate too, even if it mostly stays on the background.
Overall, Titan Quest is a solid addition to the genre. The post game adds some new bosses and such, but it's also a huge grind which I don't feel like going through, but I can see why some people would.
