CAYNE is an isometric point and click adventure game. Since it's free, I guess it's meant to be an advertisement material for STASIS, a different game by the same developer set in the same fictional universe.
If this is the case then I find it kind of weird that CAYNE is a sequel, not to mention I only found out about STASIS in the first place because I was looking for games like Sanitarium, but I digress.
Just like STASIS, CAYNE is bleak, mysterious, gory and the puzzles are somewhat nonsensical. I think the game is pretty good overall, but the protagonist is really dumb so I think I prefer STASIS. I would recommend both games for people who like adventure games and body horror, nonetheless.
