warframe suffers from having a very slow start but once you're past that point, it becomes one of, if not the best free-to-play shooter experience there is. active devs with massive content updates on about a yearly basis with each content drop, though it suffers heavily from not picking up earlier. has a good loadout customization system with great minmaxing potential where it's great fun to break the game's limits, but suffers from taking too long leveling the gear to level your mastery rank to get more gear to farm more credits, etc. it's free, so no harm in trying it and seeing if you like it
