What a beautiful jank little game this is. The dub is all sorts inconsistent and poorly translated but by god I'd say it's greatly entraining and memorable. The world is rather detailed and rich in atmosphere and number of civilians and activities for a ps2 game. The fixed camera angles allow it to have such detail choked between cuts which can lead to some very beautiful pans and shots, has the knock on effect where certain corners of the map have a lot of cuts and you can be stuck in a stutter loading between them but they don't actively get in the way of combat or anything attentive ever which is greatly appreciated. Combat while very stuff and the lock on having a very rigid and non tracking system can be a lot of fun and greatly more accessible as the game goes on. The heat attacks and mechanics play really nice into the momentum of the games challenge. Story has a very interesting and exciting plot while it can meander at times the under 18 hours it took me feel brisk compared to what I did in 0 and it was actually a fun finale. I'm gonna rate this once I do the Kiwami remake
