Far overhated but not super underrated. I felt Mildly indifferent as a kid about this new direction and an argument can be made of using the banjo Kazooie ip was the right choice or not but to be honest this change isn't that hard of a betrayal. The vehicle customisation is actually quite fun with a sprinkle of depth. Including some particular levels odferi unique challenges with the vehicles. Rares writing and wi is still here although not the best but still very enjoyable. I feel like the level and hub level implementation is a little lost in focus given that there's just multiple doors to unlock giving you the same level but with missions spawned at different locations. Feels a litttllleee rushed for a number of reasons. There was a deadline to meet and hearing what this game was gonna be originally in retrospect sounded a lot cooler but to be honest this is a harmless title bigger down by a bit of tedium, poor performance and mediocrity. But there a little gold star here for effort by delivering decent hub world with secrets to find, good grant kirkhope score and some fun in certain bosses makes it worth a visit given its small inspired to tear of the kingdom
