Honestly I think the only the only reason I enjoyed this as much as I did was because of how similar this game reminds me of Red Dead Undead Nightmare. Lots of similarities between both games but this definitely feels like a more cohesive overall experience. graphically this game is absolutely stunning and doesn't initially feel like a zombie wasteland game tied to the colors gray and brown. the story ultimately is fine, I can't say I expected much but everything it does feels expected for a game that likes being grounded in some form of reality as much as it enjoys its time being pure fiction. I will say I found the early portion of the story really weak and its lack of connection in its story formatting doesn't help to reel you in. the main character definitely feels cliché, 2 Dimensional, and edgy but honestly I can't see how else a game like this would go with how it likes to present the characters around him with more empathy, morals, and community amongst themselves. It is definitely fun to explore the open world at first but I can understand why people felt the gameplay ended up getting repetitive for them. overall I enjoyed this game despite the fact that there were plenty of game breaking bugs that made me, at their worst, have to reset from checkpoints
