Looking back, I was actually less disappointed with DA2 than I was with Inquisition because I went in with lowered expectations. Yes, most of the companions are mind-numbingly stupid, the combat oversimplified, etc. but personally, I like the smaller scope of this one in comparison to its sequel. The player doesn't have to worry about saving the world, but rather, saving one city from interior and exterior threats. Shame about the rest of the game, though.
