I know this has a lot of love for it, but I also bounced off pretty hard. Just found it too dry both mechanically and narratively. Takes forever to finally start getting into combat and by that point it had pretty much lost me already.

The story hooked me from the get go. Then I got to can collecting and I knew it would be a fun time all around. It helps that I do enjoy jrpgs

Lost Judgment was good enough that it made me forget this game ever existed if that helps. I don't know how you feel about the Dragon Engine games or the first Judgment, but LJ fixes most problems I had with either of those and makes Yokohama not boring.
