For the most part, I had fun playing through this game. I felt like a positive balance was struck between action and horror until the very end when the action began to overwhelm.
Unfortunately, the entire plot hinges on you caring about Ethan's journey to save his daughter, but it's hard to do that when he's so uninteresting and the key moments feel forced and unearned.
