What to say about this? The allure of the crazy twin peaks game will always draw people in to this one, and for me it was with mixed results. You start strong with probably the most unnerving yet beautiful opening cutscene I've seen in a game, and then it sets up some really great questions, like who is Zach? Who is the old man in the wheelchair etc, etc. Then you get dozens of hours of driving around a comically large and empty map and terrible combat, only for the game to completely flip out at the end, becoming like a wrestling TV story including the body slams; then ending what started as an off beat murder mystery with a boss fight that might as well be Mario vs Bowser, just video gamey as hell, but maybe that was the point. Every criticism I have about this game could be countered with " maybe that was the point", but perhaps I just wanted something else, like maybe something more of a horror game.
