this has become my favorite parappa game by far, it still suffers from some infamous issues the first game had, like button timing being too precise or offbeat but its definetly WAAAY better than parappa 1, and also the game can get insanely hard at some points but for me honestly thats a plus

despite everything ive said tho this game 10000% makes up for all that, the story and characters are weird, cute, funny and brimming with charm, the soundtrack absolutely slaps, there is not a single bad or forgettable song here (unless you dont like rock or metal ig lol), and the song charting is super fun and, while theyre still hard, its not in an unfair way per-se, the game demands alot from you but finally beating a song youve trained dozens of times feels amazing and super satisfying, also in the perspective of this being a "sequel" to parappa 1, it has so many more great features like replays, multiplayer, a whole bonus story with parappa and much more that makes this brim with replayability, in conclusion this has become my favorite game of the parappa series and i think it is seriously underrated and overshadowed by the loveable rapping dog, give this a try and you wont regret it.
