Whatever they say, this was fun! C'mon. Of course, it should be included in the base game and not as DLC but having finished, I can tell it was a good closure for Gen 9 games. One merit: the level of the difficult double battles! Damn. That made it both fun and annoying (one gets used to beating everyone so fast in Pokémon games). I like the story and enjoyed the funny Epilogue at the end, coming back to Kitakami. The new monsters are cool, Terapagos and the extra paradoxs pokémon. OHH and I appreciate they included Meloetta! First time I had the chance to catch this mythical pokémon by myself besides Pokémon GO (the other Meloetta I owned were from official events therefore not caught by me). I also like the idea of the Terrarium and all the references to Unova. What can I say, GEN 9 wasn't perfect by any means but I had a lot of fun.

I have finally beaten this game, I'm so slow, and I gotta say, I LOVED IT. This was by far a groundbreaking move for the franchise. I love everything about it, the challenging pokedex (with those research pages to fill); the feeling of all the pokemon rides, so well done (running full speed with Wyrdeer and jumping from a cliff just to change to Braviary in mid-air and fly away, so awesome); the story; the alpha pokémon! So cool.

One bad thing, as many already commented: NO VOICE-OVER, I mean, c'mon, if the next pokemon main series game doesn't have voice-over I will just say they are the laziest developers ever. It's already the time!!!

Anyways, I love this game. Long live Hisui and Arceus, the creator!

Very weird and interesting idea. I like the visuals, seeing the pokémon sleeping is very cute, but after a week playing I think I'm going to leave this game for a few months/years until it gets more complex and there are more things to do, because in general you get bored fast. Maybe something that will motivate me to come back will be the possibility of transferring your monsters to Pokémon HOME.

As a Pokémon fan, it's fun to see that there's a pokédex to fill out and that you can build your teams - I got a shiny Bulbasaur very quickly!

Finally, a game that motivates good sleep, makes you healthier, is ultimately a good thing, right? Especially for those like me, night owls who need to get used to getting more sleep. I just hope they're not recording our sleeping hours to manipulate our data in some sinister way....

I played this game in the Nintendo Switch's Game Boy library. Not my cup of tea.

Just the classic Tetris! As good as it gets. Cool to have it in the Switch!

2023

I've just played this short co-op game with my wife, and we loved it. It's beautiful. The music, design, the art, it's all great. The story is simple but cute, tender, and so endearing and magical. We ended up caring for these two animals. I just wanted them to be ok and survive the winter and reunite with their families. The only bad thing, maybe, is that some of the puzzles take a while to decipher (those damn ducklings!), but maybe it's just me being dumb. Overall, it was a great option to play with someone not really into games like my wife, she really enjoyed it. Finally, if you love wolves, fawns, animals in general, and cute stories, this game is mandatory.

A childhood classic just came to the Switch library, and I had to play it again! This was my first Gameboy game (technically my older brother's, but anyways). My dad gave this with a new Gameboy Color to my older brother as a Christmas present. I have fond memories of playing this, and I have already started to beat some levels in this new playthrough. Lovely game.

For a collector's item, this is just amazing. When it comes to the games, I am currently playing a bit of each of them to get a taste. This is a really nostalgic trip to memory lane. Some of these games I was playing them in NES, SNES and even in the Arcade with my older brother and friends. The extra material is excellent: I spent around 30-40 min looking at everything before starting to play. Now the question could be, when will we see the awesome TMNT from PS2 on the Switch? I miss that game.

Just a rehash from Joe & Mac. Played in the SNES library of the Switch.

I will share my review of Pokémon Violet here because after all they are the same game.

I'm loving this game. I still need to finish everything, but it's fantastic so far. I feel sorry for all the hate is receiving, most of it gratuitous, I'd dare to say. When it comes to the already infamous bugs, those we have all seen on social media and whatnot are from people playing an earlier build or with an emulator. I have yet to get almost any bug or glitch (just very basic harmless stuff that doesn't spoil my fun), and I have more than 45 hours of gameplay.

Enough of that. Scarlet/Violet are great games. It adds a lot to the mainline series. To begin with, the actual open world feeling: It's a vast world. The graphics may not be perfect, but the immersion feeling is there: you and a significant portion of a planet full of monsters, and you can see them, and they have so many different personalities and ways of interacting. It's a lot of fun.

Second, the opportunity to go around that world with your legendary pokémon. Miraidon/Koraidon is an endearing beast; you really get to know it and grow fond of it. I love running, flying, climbing mountains and swimming with this awesome dude.

And finally, the multiple storylines. This probably is the best. I love having so many choices and being able to go to any Gym I want, not being ridiculously hand-holded as in the last three generations of games. And come on, they are good stories. It's interesting. I am invested in these characters and my journey.

I give it 4/5 just for the bugs issue and because it's about time they provide us with voice-over! I hope future patches will come and fix the problems. That will bring some justice to this groundbreaking title for the franchise.

Just tried it for the Nintendo Reward points. Nice little puzzle vintage game, played for about 20 min. In general I'm not a big fan of all these puzzle games where you have to match all these colourful panels so I got bored fast, but I guess many will find this obsessing.

After around 160 hours played, I finished almost everything I wanted to do with this game. Now I will only enter sometimes when I want some pokes to beat the Sinnoh league to get the Sinnoh Champion League Ribbon. Oh, and still have to complete the Pokédex in this game (I'm missing around 50 monsters) but so so many Pokémon games at the same time, I guess I will save that for another time.

Overall it was a lot of fun, there are tons of extra features like the Grand Underground or the Ramanas Park that makes it worth. It's not perfect and certainly not the best remake of a main series Pokémon game (so far nothing beats SoulSIlver/HeartGold), but I guess I understand as they were focus in the rest. Will Black/White remakes become the peak of remakes in the future? I hope so.

Very nice, nostalgic-looking fun little game for kids. I've just checked, didn't know it existed. I guess this would be very helpful also for those 60-70 year old boomers who are still having problems typing in keyboard and phones (hey dad).

Knock off version of Street Figthter II. I've just finished this game using Ryoko in less than 40 minutes. A rehash but fun after all.
