The satisfying combat and surprisingly good story(despite being fairly predictable throughout and relying on cliches) are let down by the pacing of the game, the boring side quests that only exacerbate the pacing issue, and the overall lack of polish.
I enjoyed my time with Darksiders 2, but the fact every session had at least a couple of either crashes or bugs that require reloading, not to mention the vast amount of smaller, mostly graphical, bugs or weirdly low quality instances of voice acting makes it hard to rate it highly.
