The game opens up telling you it won't hold your hand, and uses that to justify extremely non intuitive gameplay. Halfway through the game I realized I missed the entire first third part of the story, and had to backtrack. Good thing I did, too, because the ending requires you to.
That said, it still tells a great story, and the puzzles are short and sweet. The atmosphere is fantastic.
