GreedFall is like if Dragon Age and The Witcher had a slightly awkward but ambitious baby. The fantasy world and story are surprisingly cool, with lots of political intrigue and fun side quests. But man, the combat feels clunky, it's buggy at times, and the facial animations can be... rough. It's a good game hiding under some jank, so if you're into those older-school RPGs and don't mind overlooking its flaws, there's an interesting adventure to be found here.
