Look, I LOVE the original Thief games, so I was excited for the reboot, but... it's just not the same. The levels are way too linear, the city feels lifeless, and the story is kinda forgettable. There are flashes of the old-school stealth brilliance, and Garrett still handles smoothly, but it tries to be a generic action game too often. It's not a TERRIBLE game, but if you want that true, immersive Thief experience, you're better off replaying the classics.
