I loved this game and beat it multiple times as a kid. God knows how, because the controls are, without exaggeration, among the worst I've ever experienced, and the bomb defusal level may actually be impossible. Controlling Spider-Man feels like a gremlin is hiding inside the console flicking a switch between tank controls and directional controls every 5 seconds to make sure you can never comfortably or sensibly maneuver through the world. From his performance, Tobey Maguire sounds like he would rather kill himself than have anything to do with this game, and I feel the same way.

EDIT: Due to stubbornness and a distressing lack of self-worth, I decided to power through and finish the game. I wish I hadn't. At least Willem Dafoe was having fun!
