Ori and the Will of the Wisps improved and enhanced upon The Blind Forest in every way, from combat to platforming and puzzles. While I felt the story wasn't as strong as the first, the world still delivered a sense of wonder, beauty, imagination, and life. Controlling Ori feels absolutely stellar, with all of the new abilities added in this sequel highlighting its great mechanics and design above many other 2D platformers. The only downside to Will of the Wisps is its brutal difficulty. Although I do enjoy a good challenge, there were moments when this game gave what almost felt like an underserved whopping. Spectacular game, but oftentimes a bit too hard for its own good, yet, I'd recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat.
