This rating/review is not a meme. This is probably the single most overrated game of all time and it confuses me to my core to know how highly regarded it is.

*Let me preface this with the fact that I played this for the first time on PS3 in 2011. I played about 2 hours of it and could not fathom continuing.

The controls are incredibly clunky. It's downright unresponsive feeling. It's frighteningly ugly and barren.

You know that saying "what's not to like about it?" How about, what IS to like about it? I don't care that you're some sad boy and you're killing these things and it's sad. It's not fun at all. :(

I'm kind of curious if I would enjoy the remake Bluepoint did on PS4. I intended on playing it some time, but I've also heard word that it still controls similarly, so I'm afraid I still won't enjoy it. Maybe some day I'll try it.

I suppose I will never understand the love for this game. Like Journey, it's always referenced as some transcendent thing that "isn't just a game; it's art". Whenever someone says that about a game now, I know it's time to check out. That is the quickest way to highlight to me that the game is definitely not for me, apparently.
