I've been looking forward to playing this with my girlfriend ever since it was announced, one session later and it was alright. We enjoyed the puzzles and figuring out where to go but the mechanics could definitely use some polish. Movement was a little clunky and actions didn't always want to register. One segment involving the player guiding aa group of ducklings was especially finicky givin their small size.

The art was pretty and is the game's strongest aspect. Everything is monochrome and the environment leaves me with questions about the place we're in and the story behind it. I also liked how the story was silent accomponied only the ambiance of the woods and harsh winter, occasionally accentuated with some soft music.

Ultimately Blanc is a relaxing, chill game perfect for friends, family or couples. It won't ever push you too hard nor will it demand to much of you, rather it's perfect for if you just want a simple title to unwind with for an evening. A co-op cozy game for better or for worse
