This was made around a time when people were really into cinematic type adventure games - definitely something where a lot of it consists of platforming, shooting and a bunch of long cutscenes in-between - with a fairly linear storyline about a mystical cult on an island - although I genuinely thought this game was a blast regardless.

There's something about this game where I felt that the atmosphere was top-notch and just how closely it involves you with Lara Croft - where it's much darker and bloodier than the previous entries, but fundamentally there's something here which is about the fascination of exploring and being pushed to your absolute limit. Was definitely hooked by this game, and it feels very accomplished if kind of typical.
