My first experience with the Persona/Shin Megami Tensei series.
From a native, audio, and gameplay standpoint, this game is amazing.
Each individual character has a personality, vastly contrasting each other character in the game - and yet, they fit together so well.
The game is set in Tokyo, Japan for the majority of the story, and visits other areas of Japan and the world throughout its runtime.
The story follows a group of high schoolers, exploring the "real world" and the toils and triumphs, as well as the Metaverse; the collective pysch of everyone.
The story tackles some seriously heavy topics including depression and suicide, and it handles them expertly - allowing the player to experience the gravity of the situation while still being enjoyable and grounded.
I highly recommend anyone play this game, and it's a must for RPG/Turn-based genre enjoyers.
