I usually avoid Dark Souls clones due to some mediocre and boring experiences in the past, I'm more inclined to think they will be bad because they're simply not the same as the originals and barely anyone else can replicate them. This game was not the case.

From the few soulslike games I played outside those made by FromSoft, Lies of P is the best one by far. This one specifically is more like Bloodborne, so being a lifetime Xbox user, this was the Bloodborne I never got to play.

A challenging experience for veterans of the genre but still including vast accessibility features so it can be enjoyed by newcomers as well. Very engaging gameplay that encourages offensive strats over defensive strats, because agility makes things more fun.

The spin on the Pinocchio tale was very creative and its steampunk artstyle the more fitting for the story. The game looks beautiful and plays so smoothly, impressive for a studio with practically no previous history on the genre.

If you're a fan of the Souls games you definitely have to try this one, you'll love it.
