I played it because as of now BG 3 is 10 Days and 14 hours away and I cant wait so I thought I give the og's a try. First of all I only really played Divinity 2 since the other CRPGS like Solest or Pillars of Eternity arent my kind of game. Baldur's Gate definitly wasnt a bad or boring experience. The Fight system was a little bit underwhelming exspecially since I dont like non Turn based combat in crpgs. The companions where the biggest flaw in my opinion. I had to kill Minsk do to the fact that his quest had an timer that I wasnt aware of and I didnt even meet Jahira since I walked to the mines before going to the Friendly Arms Inn. Also I had some mixe up in the Voicelines my charackters would switch between English and German (Native language) all the time. But overall I did find my self imagining how grade this game must have been when it came out. I grow up with Skyrim, Witcher and GTA but only the Imagination to come home after school and play something like this? Man this must have been crazy back in the days.
