Absolutely fantastic. It feels like this game was made specifically for my taste. Incredibly violent, fast and intense gameplay, using a gameplay mechanic as a narrative tool, a narrative about a broken society and the effects of war, and to top it all off, a cute daughter figure you want to protect with your life. This game hits all the checkmarks for me and I absolutely love it.

I have only one complaint: which is that the game basically isn't finished at the moment. This isn't too bad, since a free dlc will be released (eventually) that will conclude the plot, and I'm really looking forward to that! Still, it just feels weird to finish a game and see the credits, while knowing that the story isn't done yet, especially when you consider how some of the characters in the game barely did anything.

Even with that complain though, I can't recommend this game enough. It's amazing. Imagine Hotline Miami 2, and most of the stuff that game does narratively, but make the gameplay more consistently appealing. A truly great game all around
