Combat is insanely fun, the writing for some missions and Zane specifically is very entertaining and has got me to laugh multiple times. The characters outside of him however are very bland, specially the main antagonists who feel like they're trying too hard to be like Handsome Jack in the second game.
Also the writing for certain scenes is absolutely deplorable, I have yet to finish the game but I'd recommend only if you really enjoyed the Borderlands series.
