I love Majora's Mask. On my most recent run I used this romhack that further increased my enjoyment of a game that I've been playing for years. https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/5122/ I highly recommend using this because it completely voids like 90% of the reason you'd play the 3ds version which I think everyone knows at this point isn't the best remake. I love 100%ing this game and I highly recommend anyone playing it to give it a shot. Not only does sidequesting increase this game's total playtime up quite a bit, helping out the people of Termina also just feels rewarding. A lot of the characters in this game are incredibly charming and fun. The best sidequests being of course the Kafei quest and the Romani Ranch quest and if you don't want to 100% the game at least do their quests because trust me it's worth it. There's only 4 dungeons in this game and I think all of them are fire. All of the dungeons excluding the 4th one all focus on using a specific mask transformation, all of which are super fun to use. The deku scrub granted is the most limited of all the transformations but at the very least the deku scrub palace uses it to what I think is it's full potential still making the deku scrub fun to use, it does drop off in useage later on but at least the palace makes it fun to use while you do use it. The goron mask is also absolute flames, The mask just lets you roll around at highspeeds making exploring the small world of Termina even more fun. Snowpeak relies on the goron's heavy punches to progress. You have to make your way around while shortening down a pillar to progress to the boss. I find exploring Snowpeak super fun, and possibly one of the best dungeons in the franchise. Next and the last transformation is the Zora, basically it just makes swimming super fun somehow making the water area one of the most fun to run or I guess swim around in. I'll be honest the water dungeon can be bit of a stinker but the use of ice arrows in it and the zora swimming being peak saves it. The last dungeon uses all of the transformations a fair amount and I can't say much on it other than it's one of the best dungeons in the franchise imo. And finally the final segment of the game is great and iconic. If you collected all the masks you'll be using all 3 transformations that tests your skills with them to the limit. And the reward for clearing all the areas is the fierce diety mask. Technically this is the last transformation but you can only use it during bosses and it basically just murders them in a matter of minutes. If you don't get it the final boss is actually pretty challenging and I feel iconic, I don't want to spoil it if you haven't seen it. Anyways sorry if I wasn't very coherent I just have trouble getting my points across when I'm passionate about things, I love this game.
