I appreciate what this game did to reinvigorate the Resident Evil franchise and bring it back to its horror roots, but now the dust has settled it's obvious this game hasn't aged very well. With a great introduction that soon devolves into fairly tedious hide & seek and puzzle solving, which then leads into unsatisfying combat sequences followed by an equally unsatisfying conclusion, this game's great moments are ultimately marred by all of the dull, boring ones.

Even so, I can't say I hated this game. It's decent. Just if you've played any of the recent RE games from RE2 Remake onwards, be prepared for a much more uneven, flawed experience.
