While many would characterise this game as pretentious and self-indulgent, to me Subarashiki Hibi is a work of endless passion and emotion, a love letter to life itself, showing that despite living in a world full of abhorrent evils, we truly are lucky to be experiencing life through our flawed, yet distinctly human qualia.

I'm a person who responds most to the raw emotional force projected by media, and by the end, Subahibi felt like taking a direct injection of the entire spectrum of human emotions all at once. You'll laugh, cry, recoil in horror and probably want to take a cold shower, yet it all comes together in a video game that will undoubtedly keep me up at night for a long while to come. Simply one of the best pieces of media I've ever experienced.

(Also has one of the best OSTs in a video game ever)
