this is for the story mode. Despite the fact I cant play mk9 without buying a ps3 I still enjoyed this story. this did feel way shorter than I was expecting however. The kombat kids I do personally enjoy even if most people don't. Shinnok is cool as the villian and i liked what happened to him. There was a lot of stuff im confused on considering the roster of mk11. However i really liked the quick time events in the story made it very enjoyable. I dont know what else to say but that I enjoyed it. will be playing mk11 story soon
Story Review
This is the first Mortal Kombat game I have ever played. I kinda wish I had the chance to play previous ones just so I could understand the lore better. However I enjoyed this story mode. Nothing felt way too over my head and I understood everything. I really liked getting into this new world of characters. Idk who my favorite is yet but I have been mainly playing Kitana. The villian was pretty cool and I liked all that multiversal stuff towards the end. (might be a spoiler idk). The main group with Liu Kang was pretty enjoyable. Every character stood out to me in their own way so I cant really favor any story wise. Johnny Cage was pretty funny though. I did also like the inclusion of that twist towards the end. I enjoyed the multiple battles after another as well. It was pretty cool during the tournament section. Also the cutscenes loading into gameplay and back to cutscenes is phenomenal. This was very solid story wise as a first time player. I don't really know what else to say. But I am also interested to see where that credit scene goes as well as the next installment.

I played through the whole main story in less than a week. All I can say is wow. This game lived up way higher than my expectations. I already got a few things spoiled but a lot of others I had no clue about. I absolutely loved the story and some parts were really sick. Miles and Peter's relationship is great and I'm so glad you can play as both of them in this. Some other characters like MJ are pretty good as well. The gameplay was pretty flawless for the most part except some very minor visual glitches. the open world is amazing and I love flying around new york especially with the new web wings. Also the seamless transitions from fast travel and swapping between miles and peter was so smooth. The whole venom thing was done great and Tony Todd makes a perfect Venom. I also was very shocked by that ending with Cindy Moon. I wonder where they will go with that. I have a lot more to say but I cant put it into words.
