The game follows the classic Metroidvania structure, with addition of RPG farming/grinding elements and different possibilities of builds.

The battles are nice, specially the bosses that required some strategy and pattern memorization.

I had fun experimenting a bit and farming for better equipment while progressing for the first 20 or so hours. After that point, the entire loop began to bore me.

Farming for materials to get the next slightly better weapon or armor was not enough to keep me engaged, specially when I was lost in the map and didn't know where I was supposed to go.

The game also seems to not know exactly what to do with some of its elements. One example is the system of resistances and weakness to certain types of attack, but not only is this system irrelevant to combat, the games does not give any options to you actually make builds considering those mechanics. There are also the weapon techiniques, which I tried by best to explore and even liked the "parry + counter" one a lot, but that's the only one I actually could manage to master by the end of the playthrough.

Overall, it is a nice game with fun combat and an okay crafting system. The problem is that it just overstays its welcome.
