Upon playing this chapter and watching a friend replay Undertale, I feel confident in saying this game is going to end up being a lot better than it, and I still believe Undertale is an incredible game. The way the characters are written is great, and Kris being an actual character with an established past and their own feelings about the other characters and the events of the game that is being unwillingly controlled by you is a very cool and unique way of making the protagonist of the game a real character rather than a blank slate like you might have expected given Undertale's protagonist Frisk. Berdley is probably my favorite character in the chapter. This is mostly due to how hilarious he is, (nearly every joke in this game is incredible btw, Toby Fox is a very funny fellow) but is also contributed to by moments of sincerity (such as the snowgrave route, where he shows genuine concern for Noelle's well being, or in the normal route, when he accepts that he only really did well in class because of Noelle's help and attempts to stop being a prick with a superiority complex [although he does suck at that]). Susie and Ralsei continue to be characters I love, especially Susie, who gets some great moments in this chapter. Noelle makes a great case for my second favorite character in this chapter, with her endearing nature and her revealing things about her past and Kris's past that fleshes them both out pretty well. Queen is an excellent villain, Spamton is more compelling than Jevil ever had a chance to be, and I'm excited to see where Mr.Fox's wild ride will take us next when the next chapter releases in 2077.
