Re-logging this because I didn't realize the HD version had its own page.

Yeah, I'm sure this is a piece of nostalgia for some, but as someone who was never really into the show, I don't have the nostalgic connection. My lack of interest in the series doesn't preclude me from enjoying the games, though, largely because...well, I love video games, even if they come from franchises I know nothing about.

Sadly, it was hard to get past how bulky the controls felt here. It was an interesting blueprint, but the game was lackluster to me. Thankfully, later games came along and were much better.
