Sure, Donkey Kong Country 3 may be a shortened step back from Donkey Kong Country 2 that doesn't differentiate a whole lot from it, but that doesn't mean it isn't super fun. The platforming is still top-notch, and the overall flow of the gameplay is great. Even if it is the weakest of the "Country" games, it's still an enjoyable time.
