After finally playing through this for the first time (outside of the "saving Louie" part of the game because Louie sucks), I can see why it's so polarizing among fans. I enjoyed my time with it, and I think it brought some interesting, unique changes to the formula, but the difficulty was a bit too overwhelming for my liking. Of all the Pikmin games thus far, this is probably the one I'd be least likely to return to. It was still a solid game, though.
