When I suddenly saw that Pizza Tower just suddenly released I was honestly shocked that this game finally came out, I had some history with this game when seeing it’s demos I liked It due to it’s Wario Land-like gameplay and it’s art style that being of the golden age of nickelodeon I was hooked with this game.
Fast forward to right now and not only do I still adore that but love it even more especially with it’s other things such as OST, level designs, and more. I just really like how great everything is especially it’s gameplay, as a huge fan of the Classic Sonic series it kind of feels like that but in a more linear way, while of course the gameplay is heavily inspired by Wario Land 4 with how fast Peppino can be it really feels like a Sonic game with you going stupidly fast at any time by building up your dash it just feels great especially if you know the map design It all feels so smooth and great.
All in all this game is just so fun, I’m going to try to 100% the game (probably on all save files at this point) and it’ll probably make me love the game even much more but everything is just fantastic, things like the OST which honestly is the thing that took by surprise with it sounding like New jack swing and just overall being very reminiscent of Sonic CD which is probably one of the best VGM I have ever heard which says a lot of it in general. The art style Is probably It’s main appeal with it being of that of really old cartoons like Ren & Stimpy and having that type of humor i would say; which is also another thing in which this game overall is just funny whether it be on boss fights the animations and just how greatly detailed they are it’s just all so great, talking about animation it’s all so detailed and just how it really feels like you are playing something that’s straight up a cartoon, It’s a fantastic game all in all I have no complains about It and it was all so worth the wait, this really feels like a game like no other and one in a lifetime It’s fantastic please go play it if you haven’t it’s worth your time.
